Joe Brown

BIO:

Joe Brown is a respected rugby league figure and current team manager of the Jamaica Men's national team. Before moving into management, he enjoyed a long playing career in the UK's domestic leagues, featuring for clubs including Swinton, London, Bradford and York City Knights, and later joining Sheffield Eagles, where he played predominantly as a winger and back-line threat. Across his club career he made well over 150 appearances, scoring numerous tries and earning a reputation for pace and finishing ability.

Internationally, Brown has represented Jamaica on multiple occasions and was part of the squad that helped the nation qualify for its first Rugby League World Cup. His leadership both on and off the field saw him captain the Reggae Warriors, contributing significantly to the team's development and culture.

Since retiring from playing, he has transitioned into management, using his experience to support and organise the men's programme, fostering professionalism and helping the squad prepare for major tournaments.
